Wow!!! Lookie What My Friend Sent Me!

About a month ago, Super awesome Brandi Wiggins sent lil' ol' me the most wonderful gift that she MADE...this beautiful keychain wrapped in this pretty pretty baggie (isn't it cool?!?) and i wanted to share it with all of you!!!
I am just now getting around to posting it though, and i am officially the worst friend in the world and i feel awful because it took me so long! *hangs head in shame* I wouldn't doubt if she never wanted to send me anything again...haha!

My pictures do not to it justice, but if you go here, you will see even better photos of this little nugget of fabulousness! and while you are there, you simply MUST see the rest of her blog!

I was so surprised when i saw the package in my mailbox, and was SO thrilled when i opened it and found the keychain and a super cute card to go with it!! I have to tell you, my keys are ALWAYS falling to the very bottom of my purse, and i have the worst time trying to dig them out, and now I can attach them to this little tab i have on my purse and i will never have that problem again! Yay!!
Thank you, Brandi, i love it, and i'm tickled to have received it, and beyond that, you have made my life a whole lot easier!! *hugs*!
(oh, and p.s., i hope you can forgive me for taking so long!!)

Flowers to Feel Better

Here is this weeks sample for Stampin' Royalty, Sketch Challenge!
I made the daisy buy punching out 10 ovals, and gluing them on a base that i made with a circle punch. then i sponged Daffodil Delight in the center, made faux stitching around the petals using my Baja Breeze Stampin Write Marker, then added a button with twine. I used the Adoring Accents Edgelit Die with holes punched in using my Cropodile for the trim. then i stamped directly on the Tempting Turquoise Patterned Paper!

Supplies:
Cardstock - Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight
Ink - Basic Black
Stamps - Sincere Salutations
Accessories - Oval Punch, Brights Buttons, Cropodile, Brights Pattern Paper, Bakers Twine, Baja Breeze Stampin' Write Marker

Thanks for a Challenge!

This is the card I came up with for Stampin Royalty Challenge #115, a color combo challenge! yes, i am about a week and a half late posting (sorry about that!) it's been a crazy week, and had several things going on that kept me from my scrapping OR blogging time!
But anyways, it's a pretty simple card ( i like to keep it simple)

I started with a textured cardbase, then embossed the Sahara Sand panel, then for the design, i used the small and large Square punches, then used a circle punch to round the corners. I basically turned the punch upside down, put the corner of the square in through the opening on the bottom until it stopped, then punched each side. Then i stamped my sentiment and punched it out, and added it all together! for my last little detail, i used my Soft Suede marker to create the dots across the Marina Mist panel and as little details on the main design.

Supplies:
Cardstock - Marina Mist, Perfect Plum, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede
Ink - Soft Suede
Stamps - Petite Pairs
Accessories - Small and Large Square Punches, Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker, Lattice Embossing Folder, Circle Punches

Going for the Green!

The challenge for this week at Stampin' Royalty, is to Recycle! (or upcycle, or re-purpose, etc..)
I have had this large plastic container left over from some chocolate covered raisins (oh, how i love them!!) ('before' picture below..) and i knew that i wanted to use it for something, i just never decided what. But because of the challenge, i put my thinking cap on and decided i was just going to make it pretty, and put my little girls name on it, and she can fill it with whatever her little heart desires...crayons, the little rocks she likes to collect, maybe a piggy bank...

It was actually quite easy to put together! the lid matched Rose Red perfectly, so that worked out! I just cut the patterned paper to the size to fit around the container, added the punched white border, adhered it using Tombow glue to the container, added the black ribbon, then the panel and buttons, then added the ribbon around the lid and used my Circle Scissor to cut the patterned and white paper for the lid, and the rose was made by punching several Extra Large Scallop Circles, spritzing them with water, crumpling them up then uncrumpling, layering and then forming them into a rosette, putting a large brad through the middle to hold them together, letting them dry, them adding a black button with a rhinestone in the middle. I used the black ribbon to create the "leaves". I made a kind of loop with them and stuck them on.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Whisper White
Ink: Rose Red
Stamps: Four Frames
Accessories: Rose Red Patterned Paper, Neutrals Buttons, Subtles Buttons, Rhinestones, Melon Mambo Dotted Scallop Ribbon, Black Dotted Scallop Ribbon, Decorative Label Punch, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch, Billboard letters Die
